Webis Holdings board changes

Online gaming group Webis Holdings has announced the appointment of Sir James Mellon (82) as a non-executive director as Jim Mellon steps down from the board, both appointments with immediate effect.

Sir James, a former diplomat whose roles included UK Ambassador to Denmark, Director General for trade and investment and USA Consul General, New York, brings years of corporate experience acting as a director of both public and private companies.

Denham Eke, Chairman of Webis, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Sir James to the board. His experience and advice will be of undoubted help in fostering the Group’s continuing development. I would also like to thank Jim Mellon for his invaluable contribution and commitment to the Group over the last eight years.”

The appointment is subject to approval by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission.
