West Virginia’s SB415 sports betting bill was passed by the House Finance Committee, just a week after it passed through the State Senate, and now advances to the full House of Delegates for consideration.
The bill allows sports betting, including mobile and online, at five state casinos under the regulatory control of the West Virginia Lottery Commission, but is contingent on a favourable decision from the US Supreme Court in overturning the federal Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA).
