Online punters will be asking when the latest release from Aristocrat will be made available online following the pre-launch publicity this week for the provider’s new Westworld slot. The new game is set for launch next month at the G2E show in Las Vegas.
The slot’s theme is based on the popular Warner Bros., television series Westworld and features a cast of humanoid robots and the humans with whom they interact.
“The one-hour drama series is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin. Set at the intersection of the near future and the reimagined past, it explores a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged,” a statement from the provider advised this week.
The series recently earned 22 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series. With an average gross audience of 13 million viewers, “Westworld” ranks as the most-watched freshman season among all original series on the HBO channel.
The release of the Aristocrat game is timely, with the launch of the second Westworld season, scheduled for 2018, on the horizon.
Aristocrat’s pre-launch publicity reveals that the new game will “…take players on a thrilling journey through the series, which features fan-favorite characters, attractive imagery, high-definition footage of the most memorable scenes and the show’s distinctive music.”
The Westworld slot will debut on Aristocrat’s new flame55 cabinet.
Aristocrat’s portfolio includes several other Warner Bros. Consumer Products licensed titles such as the Batman Classic TV Series Slot Game, The Big Bang Theory Slot Game, Dumb & Dumber Slot Game, and A Christmas Story Slot Game.
