William Hill to close Tel Aviv office?

William Hill is reportedly closing down its Israeli online operations in Tel Aviv, an exclusive report from Leap Rate claims.

According to the report, two-hundred staff based at the Tel Aviv office will be laid-off with a select few offered relocation opportunities as the company seeks to streamline and consolidate its online division.

The office was established as part of William Hill Online’s joint venture with Playtech in 2008, which the bookmaker subsequently bought out in 2013.
