Williams Interactive in game supply deal with Betsson and Unibet

WMS Industries’ newly formed interactive subsidiary Williams Interactive has entered into a multi-year licencing agreement with Betsson AB and the Unibet Group.

Under the terms of the deal, Betsson and Unibet will have non-exclusive access to WMS’ full online games portfolio through its Jadestone subsidiary with the future opportunity of distributing across the online casino’s mobile channels.

The first WMS games are anticipated to be available on the Unibet and Betsson online casinos early in 2013.

Orrin J. Edidin, president of WMS Industries and president and chief executive officer of Williams Interactive, said: “This expanded relationship represents a meaningful expansion in the B2B growth of our interactive products and services. Importantly, together, we have the potential to deliver a significant increase in the slot experience that will soon be offered to their players.”

In related news, Unibet has signed its third football betting sponsorship in Belgium with soccer club Standard Liège.  Named official betting partner of the Jupiler Pro League club, Unibet will benefit from LED pitchside advertising and branding on all club materials.
