Wilsenach to leave AGCC

Executive director of the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) André Wilsenach will leave the authority at the end of January 2016 to take up the role of executive director of the new International Center for Gaming Regulation (ICGR) at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

“Whilst we are naturally sorry that André will be departing after 14 astonishingly successful years with us in Alderney, we are delighted that he has been sought out by the University of Nevada Las Vegas to set up and run such a highly prestigious academic centre,” Lord Richard Faulkner, Chairman of the AGCC said.

“His appointment is a huge compliment to the quality and effectiveness of the AGCC’s regulatory régime, and to André’s achievement in helping to establish it.”

The AGCC has begun the process of identifying Wilsenach’s successor.
