Online sports betting and poker operator Winamax and French Ligue 1 football club Nantes have extended an existing sponsorship relationship for a further two years.
Winamax will continue to enjoy brand visibility at Nantes FC homeground, Stade de La Beaujoire and other promotional opportunities related to the club and its players.
“FC Nantes have had their best season in Ligue 1 for more than 10 years with a beautiful 7th place,” Alexandre Roos, chief executive officer of Winamax said. “We are proud to continue to accompany the return of this historic French football club to the forefront by being an Official Partner.”
Mobile-first online operator LeoVegas has also inked a two-year deal with English Championship league football club Brentford, replacing 888Sport as shirt sponsor.
Under the terms of the deal, the LeoVegas logo will feature on Brentford FC’s home and away shirts for the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons.
In addition, the LeoVegas brand will appear on various items of Brentford training wear and throughout home stadium, Griffin Park.
“This partnership marks an exciting growth in our sports offering, and offers the perfect platform for us to engage with more football fans – something which is important for us to do over the coming months as we focus on the evolution of our sports betting product,” Jon Sinclair, head of LeoVegas in the UK and Ireland, said.
