WMS launches friendly slot on Facebook

WMS’s innovative new social gaming offering Friendslot has been launched on Facebook by subsidiary Jackpot Party Casino as a free social slot game where players match their profile to those of their friends to win credits and learn more about their buddies at the same time

FriendSlot https://apps.facebook.com/friendslotgame is an interactive free slot game played using data from a player’s Facebook friend network. The game captures profile information of a player’s friends including age, gender, Star Sign, location and ‘Likes’ of a player’s friend network and then shows random profiles in a 3 reel ‘scatter pay’ slot game.

Players have 10 spins per game to score as many points as possible depending on how many attributes they share (and then match) with their friend network. And when a player spins a Jackpot Party Hero character their score for that spin will be multiplied.
Scores are logged on Leader boards and can be shared between a player’s friends on Facebook and Twitter to introduce the game to a wider audience.

Even when a player is not playing FriendSlot, they can still get a result. If their profile helps a friend win, then the player will also win credits which are automatically added to their total on the Leader Boards.

At the end of each game, summary screens show which friends have won the user the most points and what ‘Likes’ he or she share. Players can then message friends who have the same hobbies, locations and birthdays. They can also post their scores direct to their own Facebook news feed to share their success.
