Yggdrasil Gaming has released its own H1 update following the release of record turnover but declines in EBITDA from parent company Cherry AB (see previous reports).
Yggdrasil is now live with seven operators across fifteen websites including LeoVegas, Mr Green, Unibet, Vera&John and Videoslots.com and has signed additional agreements with Betsson, CO-Gaming, Leaderbet, L&L Casino, Offside Gaming, Portomasoand Starfish Media.
Its range of RNG games now stand at five slot games and twelve lottery games which include titles such as Winterberries, Robotnik, Fruitoids and Magic Mushrooms.
Growth in the company has seen its staff complement double, the opening of new sales offices in Gibraltar and Poland and the launch of a second games studio in Ukraine.
Fredrik Elmqvist, chief executive officer at Yggdrasil Gaming said: “It has been a very solid start to 2014 for Yggdrasil Gaming after signing agreements with twelve operators spread across various European markets. We now have seven operators live across 15 websites, as well as an additional seven integrations currently ongoing. There is a strong sales pipeline with the opening of a sales office in Gibraltar increasing prospects in the jurisdiction, including a number of the most prominent operators.”
Yggdrasil Gaming has recently joined the Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association (GBGA) and will support a challenge of the UK’s impending new gambling licensing regime which it says “undermines the right to the free movement of services.”
