Yggdrasil Gaming has announced that 4ThePlayer.com is the latest independent studio to join the Yggdrasil Game Server (YGS) Masters programme, and that it will develop games in collaboration with the supplier across its platform.
The partnership will see UK-based 4ThePlayer.com develop and release unique titles to be made available to Yggdrasil’s operator partners.
Yggdrasil’s latest signing will significantly grow its YGS Masters initiative in 2019 and is another step in the company’s strategy to become a global content publisher, identifying and partnering with the world’s leading studios to curate, develop and distribute high volume, high-quality games to its customers.
Through the deal, 4ThePlayer.com will gain access to BOOST®, Yggdrasil’s collection of proprietary in-game promotional tools.
4ThePlayer.com is a mobile-first games studio founded by Andrew Porter, former Casino Content Director at Playtech and Ash Gaming founder Chris Ash, both keen slots players, with a combined 40 years’ gambling industry experience.
Andrew Porter, CEO, 4ThePlayer.com:
“We are delighted to partner with Yggdrasil, a company whose approach to high-quality innovative content very much compliments our own.
“Their platform tools are some of the most advanced and most utilised by operators. We look forward to innovating together to deliver the best player experiences and operator promotions.”
Stuart McCarthy, Head of Studio Partnerships at Yggdrasil:
“By having 4ThePlayer.com join the YGS Masters Programme we can offer our partners exclusive and unique content from one of the leading independent game studios.
“The industry experience that the 4ThePlayer management team has is invaluable and, with a focus on quality over quantity, we are confident the games they create will be highly appreciated by operators and players alike.”
